Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool believes that it is important to educate the whole child. We believe in learning that is holistic and embodies social, emotional, physical, spiritual and intellectual development of all children. Parents are a child?s first and most important teachers, and their support is critical to the child?s success in school activities.
Learning experiences will include fair play, problem solving, character traits, decision-making strategies, investigation skills, experimentation, creative movement and exploration in an environment where the love of Jesus is evident.
Realizing children learn best through experiences, process learning activities are provided to enable students the opportunity to practice structure and routine, as well as creative learning. Children will receive a variety of teacher-directed and child-centered activities fostering their wonder and curiosity, as well as their confidence and pride in progress and achievements.
